Applications for the 2026–2027 CYFAM National Government are officially open, and we’re inviting you—oo, ikaw!—to step forward and help light the path for the future of our Filipino American medical community.

Whether you are a pre-med still navigating the early stages of your journey or a resident with years of training behind you, your perspective, experiences, and commitment have a place here.

Serving in this capacity is not simply about occupying a position. It is about pamana: continuing the legacy of those who created opportunities for us while building pathways for those who will follow. It means advocating for our community, elevating voices that too often go unheard, and fostering a space where every Filipino American in medicine feels recognized and supported.

At the same time, meaningful service requires intention and accountability. This work demands consistency, humility, and care for the collective. We seek individuals who are prepared to contribute fully—those who understand that leadership is grounded not in visibility, but in kapwa: responsibility to one another.
