    Our mission is to empower all doctors to provide the best possible care.

    Doctors have to navigate a vast amount of medical knowledge to find the right information at the right time.

    Our aim with AMBOSS is to distill this overflow of information down and make it applicable to patient care. We’re providing a digital resource for doctors to help them when making clinical decisions, and thereby improve the lives of patients.

  • Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA)

    APAMSA serves as a forum for student leaders to engage these health issues and develop initiatives and projects addressing those needs. The local, regional, and national activities of APAMSA aim to promote the health of the AANHPI community and help healthcare workers understand how to care for AANHPI patients in a culturally sensitive manner.

    Finally, APAMSA provides an important venue for medical students to meet, exchange experiences, and develop personally and professionally through leadership and service.

  • Association of Philippine Physicians in America (APPA)

    Established in Chicago in 1972, the Association of Philippine Physicians in America (APPA) was originally named the Association of Philippine Practicing Physicians in America. However, there were many members with Medical Doctorates who were no longer practicing, so the organization amended to drop the word “Practicing” from its name. Its goal includes establishing continuing education program for physicians, providing aid for the education of physicians and medical students, supporting and stimulating medical research, and rendering free medical care for indigent people.

  • Collaborative Center for X-Linked Dystonia-Parkinsonism (CCXDP)

    The Collaborative Center for X-Linked Dystonia-Parkinsonism (CCXDP) is an international consortium of scientists, physicians and advocates working to advance research and clinical care for people with XDP.

  • Filipino Young Leaders Program (FYLPRO)

    The Filipino Young Leaders Program (FYLPRO) is a network of high-performing, next-generation leaders who advance the Philippines and the Filipino people through their advocacy and expertise in various industries.

  • Filipinx/a/o Community Health Association (Fil - CHA)

    The goal of the Filipinx/a/o Community Health Association (Fil-CHA) formerly known as the Filipinx/a/o COVID-19 Resource and Response Team (Fil-COVID) is to address the health disparities within the Filipinx/a/o community and provide policy recommendations and resources surrounding the needs of the community.

    The Latino Medical Student Association exists to unite and empower current and future physicians through service, mentorship, and education to advocate for the improved health of the Hispanic & Latina/o/x community in the United States.

    Mabuhay Credit Union is a division of Nikkei Credit Union, a progressive, full-service financial institution providing quality service to the Japanese American (JA) community in Southern California since 1951.

  • National Council of Asian Pacific Islander Physicians (NCAPIP)

    The National Council of Asian Pacific Islander Physicians (NCAPIP) represents Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander physicians committed to the advancement of the health and well-being of their patients and communities. NCAPIP believes in shaping health care in America to meet this shared American goal of optimal health for all.

    Physicians must take a leadership role in assuring that every American receives the highest quality health care, provided by health care systems and supported by health care policies that value each and every individual and their unique backgrounds. Health care should be provided in an equitable manner, without discrimination based on type of health insurance, income, gender, age, race, ethnicity, national origin, language, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, geographic location, or immigration status.

    The Department of Tourism (DOT) shall be the primary government agency charged with the responsibility to encourage, promote, and develop tourism as a major socio-economic activity to generate foreign currency and employment and to spread the benefits of tourism to both the private and public sector.

    To develop a globally competitive, environmentally sustainable and socially responsible tourism industry that promotes inclusive growth through employment generation and equitable distribution of income thereby contributing to building a foundation for a high trusted society.

  • Philippine Consulate General at Los Angeles

    The Consulate General of the Philippines in Los Angeles was established in 1947 to implement Philippine foreign policy within its jurisdiction and foster closer relations with the ever-growing Filipino-American community.

    It serves the needs of the largest Filipino community in the United States through the following services: assistance to distressed Filipinos, economic diplomacy, issuance of passports and visas, civil registration, notarials and other legal services, and the promotion of Philippine culture.

    Student National Medical Association (SNMA) is committed to supporting current and future underrepresented minority medical students, addressing the needs of underserved communities, and increasing the number of clinically excellent, culturally competent and socially conscious physicians.

  • UCSF Program in Medical Education for the Urban Underserved (PRIME-US)

    The Program in Medical Education for the Urban Underserved (PRIME-US) is five-year track at the UCSF School of Medicine and the UC Berkeley-UCSF Joint Medical Program for students committed to working with urban underserved communities. The program is designed to nurture, support and equip medical students to carry out their goal of effectively promoting health equity and providing healthcare to urban underserved communities.
