2021 Supporter

Filipino Young Leaders Program (FYLPRO) is a network of high-performing, next-generation leaders who advance the Philippines and the Filipino people through advocacy and expertise in various industries.

FYLPRO continually expands the pipeline of young Filipino leaders in the diaspora. By connecting them to the motherland, they foster collaborative multinational relationships that create innovations and support the socio-economic progress of the global Filipino community.

Why are CYFAM and FYLPRO working together?

By joining forces, we aim to leverage FYLPRO's network of young, high-performing leaders who are passionate about socio-economic progress and our expertise in healthcare and medical advocacy. Together, we strive to create innovative solutions and foster greater awareness of health-related challenges within the Filipinx community, ultimately contributing to the betterment of our people's lives worldwide.

Interwoven Roots

The relationship between CYFAM and FYLPRO extends deeply as our members have participated in FYLPRO’s marquee immersion program:

  • 2018: Antonio Moya, MD, MPH

  • 2018: Melissa Palma, MD, MPH

  • 2022: Angelico Razon, MD, MPH

  • 2022: Neil Wingkun, MD

Advancing Health Trust

We further collaborate with FYLPRO as our very own Melissa Palma, MD, MPH, regularly supports its caretaker project, Tayo, as their health advisor.

About Tayo
Tayo, a project of the Filipino Young Leaders Program (FYLPRO), is an innovative data hub that empowers Filipinx/a/o communities by collecting data, fostering partnerships, publishing culturally relevant insights, and developing leaders to create an equitable and sustainable future.
