    What does it mean to lead with mission and purpose?

    Welcome to Kaya Nila, Kaya Ko Rin, a Council of Young Filipinx Americans in Medicine media series dedicated to uplifting Fil Am healthcare leaders and showcasing the impact of mentorship, bayanihan, and paying it forward on their journeys.

    Our aim is to foster both individual and shared efficacy through sharing stories of up-and-coming voices in medicine and exploring their triumphs, lessons learned, and relationships built along the way. If they can do it, then so can I. Dr. Aries Limbaga shares how his passion for serving his community, the importance of quality improvement and high-value care for underserved communities, and early roots as a nursing student shaped his path as the Chief Deputy Director of Operations at the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services.
