Bawat Bituin, Bawat Kuwento: Every Star, Every Story is CYFAM's 6th Annual Conference, taking place on March 14–15, 2026, in Houston, Texas. This two-day gathering brings together Filipinx Americans in medicine at every stage of their journey, from pre-health students charting their path to attending physicians leading the way.
CYFAM is committed to making our conference accessible and affordable. We have intentionally designed our pricing to remove financial barriers, especially for students and trainees who represent the future of our community. Our rates are among the most accessible of any in-person medical conference in the country.

Guest Pass: Single-Session Access Only

For presenters who wish to have a guest accompany them to their specific session only. Presenters may register up to two guests (such as spouses or parents). This pass does not include access to additional conference sessions, workshops, events, meals, or the exhibition hall. Your host must be registered for the Conference and accompany you at check-in.

How Our Pricing Compares
CYFAM believes that building community should not come at a prohibitive cost. We have worked hard to keep our conference rates accessible, especially for students and early-career professionals. Here is how our pricing compares to other in-person medical society conferences.

Our pricing reflects CYFAM's core value of inclusivity. We want every Filipinx American in medicine, regardless of where they are in their journey, to be able to participate in building our community.
Financial Support
Mr. Ramon Niango Ramos Conference Scholarship
CYFAM offers four $300 scholarships to support medical trainees' conference attendance. Applications for 2026 are close Saturday, February 7, 2026, and recipients will be notified during the week of February 23, 2026.
If cost remains a barrier to your attendance, please reach out to us at conference@cyfam.org. We are committed to working with attendees to ensure that finances do not prevent participation.
Airfare Travel Discount

CYFAM has partnered with United Airlines to offer discounted airfare for conference attendees.
Use code ZS79395408 when booking at united.com/meetingtravel or by calling (800) 426-1122. Travelers must be traveling to/from George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). MileagePlus members earn miles on discounted bookings, and booking fees are waived.
Requesting Institutional Support
If your school, residency program, or employer offers professional development or conference travel funds, CYFAM can help you make your case. We have created a justification letter template that you can customize and submit to your department, program director, or grants office.
The template includes:
An overview of CYFAM's mission and 501(c)(3) status
Conference programming highlights (clinical skills workshops, mentorship, research symposium)
Space to articulate your personal learning goals
A cost breakdown section for registration, travel, and lodging
Presenting at the Conference?
Workshop facilitators and Research Symposium presenters often qualify for additional institutional funding. If you have been accepted to present, mention this in your letter and attach your acceptance notification. Your program or department may view this as scholarship or professional development activity worth supporting.
