Council of Young Filipinx Americans in Medicine (CYFAM) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Since our founding, we’ve reached over 900 individuals across the United States and worldwide, tripled our capacity for outreach, and fostered new relationships within our communities.

This theme celebrates the resilience of our communities which makes reunion possible. While the COVID-19 pandemic continues, our communities have demonstrated great amounts of care, labor, and energy to fill the gaps left by our strained systems and institutions. As Filipinxs and Filipinx Americans in medicine, we share a deep history of resilience with our predecessors who provide care and community in times of unprecedented hardship. This conference was designed to reflect on these shared experiences, uplifting and celebrating their potential to transform our systems, connections, and relationships. We hope that through this conference, we inspire each other to grow both as individuals and as a community.
